Photography Contest
CONTEST INFORMATION
The Youth Geographic Association’s Photography Contest is a seasonal event that invites the youth in the age brackets listed below to submit pictures they have taken and compete in their respective category. Submissions will be posted on our Instagram to allow the YGA community to publicly vote for their favourite picture. The most popular entries will then have the opportunity to display their photograph(s) across the YGA social media accounts and website!
- Categories: Birds, Water life, Wildlife, Landscapes
- Age Brackets: 15 years old and under, 16-20 years old, 20-24 years old
Note: Colour correction (including black and white) and cropping of photos is permitted. However, the content alteration of the file will not be acceptable. The entrants must be able to provide a high-resolution version of each photo that they submit. For the photographs that are selected as winning entries, the high-resolution version of the photograph will be required for reproduction.
How to Upload Submissions
- Post it on your story or feed with the hashtag #ShareYGA
- Email us submissions at intyouthgeoassoc@gmail.com
- Submit it to the Google Form linked below
- Let us know if other options are not available
All submissions must include the entrant’s full name, age, country they reside in, the category into which you wish to enter your photo, and a description of your photo to be eligible. There is no limit to the number of submissions by a single entrant. Entrants must be under the age of 24 to participate.
